Round 4 of the Indonesia 1/8 GP National Championship was held at JITC Senayan last week, with 26 entries. The weather was cloudy since morning and at the first heat the rain poured in, so the race was delayed until 1:00PM.
After 3 heats, Teddy Syach took the TQ honor with Tons in 2nd place. XRAY drivers Sadikin Sutrisno, Bowie Ginting and Suwardi Suliandy took 3rd, 4th and 5th places respectively. Sani, HongHong, Heri and Usman Halim rounded out the Top 10 by qualifying in 7th to 10th places respectively.
In the C Main Final, Adam with his first encounter with the RX8 won the race and secured the first trophy for the team.
In the B Main Final, it was a clean sweep by XRAY with Richard Suryo winning the race followed by Ronny Suwarto and Linardi.
In the A Main Final, after 9 minutes of racing the rain poured down again forcing the race director to stop the race and take the qualifying order as the final results for the race. With that, Sadikin Sutrino brought home the 3rd place trophy for the team.
